The AquaFX Mako is the preferred choice for reefkeepers, aquarists with demanding water needs and anyone who wants the extra edge in water quality at an affordable price. Efficient pre-filtration in the 5 Stage system greatly enhances the membrane life. The final 2 stages are color changing high efficiency DI cartridges with the second cartridge putting a final purification step on your water as well as acting as a backup if the first DI cartridge is used up and you didn't get around to changing it. Available in 50, 100 and now 200 Gallons Per Day models.

The Mako offers the following features:
